When packing clearly mark fragile boxes. Also clearly mark packages containing liquid.

Unpack all wardrobes, cupboards and drawers. If you are able to pack all of your belongings into boxes or its original packaging, it will make the move more efficient. To be sure your fragile items are secure, use bubble wrap when packaging. Pack heavier items at the bottom of the package and lighter items at the top. If you have a lot of books or heavy items, try to distribute them evenly amongst other boxes, or pack them into boxes specially designed for heavier items, to be sure that no boxes will break causing damage to your items inside.

If you have any items such as marble tables, double door fridges, pool tables or extremely large pot plants, please let us know in advance so that we are equip with the right tools to move these items on the day. It is also helpful for us to know in advance if you have any outdoor furniture or garage or shed items to move.

Taping your boxes enables us to stack things more securely and keep your belongings safe during transport, and while loading and unloading.

Our staff are happy to disassemble beds and other furniture, but if you are able to have already prepared this for us it will make your move a lot more efficient. We are also able to disconnect gas heaters, washing machines and fridges, and reconnect them in your new home.

If your new home has a polished floor surface, its is worthwhile to purchase furniture felt to protect the floor surface from scratching.

• Bubble wrap $3.30 per metre
• Masking tape $4.40 per roll
• Porter Robe box (suits etc) $16.50 ea

• Furniture felt $25.00 per roll

There is a delivery fee of $20.00 for the above items.
